In Which I Kneel Before My Sweet, Sweet Master

After a more than three year hiatus, we've got cable again. It's the cheap, basic kind, but, just like the last time we got basic cable, they didn't filter out the higher channels. No more watching Countdown, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report via YouTube. In completely unrelated news, posting could be scarce in the near future.

So what else should I be watching?

BET's comic view. b/c, as rush limbaugh has proved time and again, there's nothing better than raced-bait joking!

The Office is in the Netflix queue (NBC refused to come in when we didn't have cable). Sadly, Comcast here doesn't have SciFi, so no Battlestar Galactica (also in the Netflix queue). I don't even know what Veronica Mars is. I'll trade you BET for Boondocks.

veronica mars used to be on UPN, which is now the old WB network, channel 9 here in chicago.

comcast doesn't have the sci-fi out there? that's weird. i'll bet they have like a dozen country music stations to make up for it, though.

i just rented the first boondocks yesterday. let ya know how it turns out.

Haven't seen any country stations, although I'm sure CMT is in there somewhere. But I'm thinking we got F/X instead of SciFi. Not a bad trade, methinks.
