A few months ago both the Prime Minister and my state premier publicy denied that Australia was in any way a racist country. After calls to make *everyone* who enters the country sign a statement saying they affirm "Australian values" (whatever the fuck that means) and another study into low life expecancy/drug and alcohol abuse/women prostituting themselves for petrol/abject poverty/terrible health services/etc. in indigenous communities. I wanted to put my foot through the TV >:{
