post a commenti was talking about this with a very good friend of mine - a progressive, even! and she said, well, how could the senate have known our intelligence was so bad?
i almost died. how could we have not known? WE DID KNOW!! there were people from the UN, people from the CIA all over tv saying, uh, this isn't quite all true.
does NO ONE have a memory that goes back a few years?
Not to mention that it's the Senate's job to know these things before giving the President a free pass to spend billions of taxpayer dollars.
