Happy Birthday To Me
The White Sox swept the Astros, we're going to an Over the Rhine show tonight, and Karl Rove and Scooter Libby could very well be indicted by the week's end. Mmmm mmm good. |

A very merry birthday to you.
That's all quite exciting, but the part that gets me the most jealous is the OtR show. They're on my shortlist of concerts I'd most like to see.
Have a great day. Speaking of shortlists... I hope I'm not spoiling any big surprise present, but have you fitted yourself for black robes recently?
Quite a day for you. Jealous about Over the Rhine. Was that the Wheaton show? I'd look it up, but I'm too lazy.
Sox game ruled!!! Pissed off my upstairs neighbor with all my screaming. Ah...finally.
Happy Birthday Kevin! Mine's in October too. Have a good one.
Oh and congrats on your team winning. They beat the soxs off of us!
So big guy..wadja want for your birthday tonight after OtR? Hmm?
i sure hope Mrs. WaspJerky isn't being X-Rated in her comments. If this blog turns into soft porn I'm desubscribing as my favorites. Sheesh. Grow Up. ha ha.
Dude happy Birthday yo. Maybe Harriet Myers'll let you borrow her eye liner for the show tonight.
Peace.
p.s. word on the streets of houston is that Bagwell & Biggio threw the series dawg.
i don't know what to do with myself. i wanted seven games. and this waiting for fitzmas is killing me!
Happy b-day Kevin! Hope yall enjoy the show tonight.
Wow, the White Sox won two World Series games on your birthday.
Be sure to let us know what kind of birthday fun you had at the OtR show (no need to know what happens afterwards with the Mrs., but we're all adults here and you're married, so it's kind of a no-brainer).
Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great time and here's to many more happy days. *raises glass of decaf herbal tea in your honor*
Cheers!
Thanks for the birthday wishes all. The Over the Rhine show (yes it was in Wheaton) was amazing. I was only vaguely familiar with their stuff going in (I only have Amateur Shortwave Radio, at least until tomorrow) but they put on a fantastic show. There were a couple of nice blues jam sessions and Karin's voice was amazing. Kim Taylor opened, who is also quite good. She joined OrR for most of their set on guitar and backing vocals. They're going to be in Chicago again in December, so there's a decent chance we'll be going to that show as well (sorry, no California shows the rest of this year Zalm).
