Cheap is relative. Here (Chicago burbs) we're paying about $2.07. But you'd be paying twice what you pay if you lived in Europe.
Gas is going to keep going up because we're running out. As demand increases, price will increase. But you're paying a lot less than you could be, precisely because Bush is making sure we have as many reserves as possible in our possession.
